Imagine

Imagine retractable banner stands are a high end model from Orbus that is essentially the same as the Barracuda but with a changeable cassette design. With the changeable cassette, graphics can be changed in seconds by simply opening the lid and dropping in the new cassette. This makes it possible to maintain a library of banners to be used for different promotions or events. When it's time to change graphics, the banner in the cassette can be replaced in the same way you would change the banner in a regular stand, like the Barracuda, or replacement graphics can be ordered with a new cassette to make banner changes even easier. The Imagine also features translucent black plastic end caps for a finished look and a twist-to-lock style telescopic pole that adjusts from 30" to 84" allowing the Imagine to be used as both a table top banner stand and a full height floor standing banner display. The pole stores in a space on the bottom of the base to make the stand more compact during shipping.

The Imagine has a tension adjustment knob on the graphics cassette that can be used to add tension or completely re-tension a stand, should the need arise. There are also some interesting premium accessories available for the Imagine, such as a literature pocket and table top that can be purchased individually or as a kit with both options. Both attach to the base with aluminum extrusions for a very secure and professional appearance, and place the table top or literature pocket to either side of the banner so as not to obscure the view of the graphic. If you have the need for this type of accessory to extend the function of a banner stand display to show products and provide literature, then one of the Orbus premium banner stands, such as the Imagine is the obvious choice, since they are the only models that have this feature. Also called roll up banner stands or pull up banner stands, this style of banner display features a spring loaded roller that holds the banner under tension, and rolls it safely into the base for storage between uses. The Imagine has a top rail with two options for mounting the graphic; a metal panel strip with set screws for the greatest security, or a plastic adhesive panel strip that simply slides into a channel in the top rail. We prefer the metal panel strip with set screws because it doesn't rely on adhesive like the plastic panel strip, and in our experience, adhesives eventually fail, and never at a good time. The bottom of the banner attaches with adhesive on the plastic leader. Since there is no access to the roller on the Imagine, the use of the plastic leader is necessary so the banner can be attached to something outside of the sealed cassette.

The Imagine comes complete with a padded travel bag with carry strap.

The Imagine 800 displays a banner with a visible size of 31.5" wide x 30.5" to 83.75" tall.

Looking for a higher-end model?

There isn't an upgrade from the Imagine at the same 31.5" width, so it would be necessary to go with a 33.4" wide model in order to upgrade. The Expand QuickScreen 3 would be an excellent option for an upgraded model The Expand QuickScreen 3 is a high end model that also has changeable cassettes and has adjustable height from 63" to 88.625" with the benefit of lever locks to fix the pole at the desired height.

Looking for a less expensive model?

The QuickSilver Pro 31 is a great choice in a less expensive model that holds the same width banner, and it actually has some additional features, but it doesn't have a changeable cassette. It has a standard height range of 36" to 92" tall, with the option of a 38" to 96" tall pole, both of which feature lever locks instead of the twist to lock style of pole. The QuickSilver Pro has a fabric leader with low profile velcro attachment for easy banner changes, adjustable tension, and a deluxe travel bag.
